Loya Kader

Visual Artists

Meet Loya, a contemporary artist who has adapted the traditional everyday object of the “sieve” into works of art. This object thus makes it possible to create an illusion effect thanks to the superimposed tulle for subtle works full of poetry.

Loya Kader questions the concept of reality in her works. She creates an illusion by creating an illusion effect with tulle in her works in which she displays a futuristic attitude. With this illusion effect, she invites the viewer to a question-awareness.

Do you live life with bare reality or with reality that is relative in your perception?

In the series "You are Istanbul", she presents a historical section of Istanbul's centuries-old architecture.

She was born in 1990 in Denizli. Despite the disagreement of her family and those around her, she passed the special talent exam, thanks to her passion for painting and art. She studied painting at the Fine Arts Department of Pamukkale University between 2009 and 2013. In 2015, she was assigned to Istanbul as a painting teacher, the profession she still practices. At the same time, she is pursuing her master's degree at the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Thrace following her one-year course at the Art and Design Department of the Technical University of Yıldız.

Loya produces today in her studio in order to express the need for fulfillment that has inhabited her since her childhood.
