Ela Süer

Born in 1974 in Beirut, Lebanon, Ela Süer is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Istanbul. She studied Political Science at the American University of Beirut and spent fifteen years working with international companies in Istanbul.
Driven by a growing passion for contemporary art, Ela transitioned to a full-time artistic practice in 2020. She has completed various training programs in ceramics, mosaic, and marbling art, and in 2018 further developed her painting practice under the mentorship of leading contemporary artists in Turkey.
Ela Süer’s work demonstrates a strong engagement with form, texture, and color, often exploring themes of nature, abstraction, and personal expression. Her practice is characterized by continuous experimentation and an evolving visual language, as she consistently seeks new techniques and modes of expression.
