Raphaël Gaudin

Raphaël Gaudin, a French painter born in 1972 in Rennes, has
devoted himself to drawing and art since childhood. Trained in
applied arts with a specialisation in graphic arts, he has
developed a unique and recognisable style: dynamic curves in
thick and thin lines, intertwined like a labyrinth, but always open
to the unexpected. His canvases, with their bright, bold colours,
combine rigour and freedom, creating a universe in motion that
is both voluptuous and ethereal.
He draws inspiration from his multicultural and international
experiences: Tangier, a cosmopolitan city in northern Morocco;
Warsaw, with its historic old town; Nantes, a dynamic city in
western France; and now Istanbul, where he now lives. Raphaël
Gaudin draws on the energy and contrasts of these cities to
enrich his artistic language. His work embodies a constant
quest for movement, light and emotion, where each piece
becomes an invitation to travel between reality and imagination.
