Gülşen Aydoğan

IMG_7035_edited.jpg

Gülşen Aydoğan began her painting studies at an early age and received awards in numerous competitions throughout her education.

She has taken part in international art projects. Her works have been exhibited in the project "I Wrote with My Paintings" (Resimlerimle Yazdım) in Rome, Italy, and in the exhibitions "The Story of Moments" (Anların Öyküsü) at Cemal Reşit Rey and "Dream, Touch, Rhythm" (Düş Dokunuş Ritim) in Beyoğlu, Istanbul.

The artist's works generally highlight the colors, mystery, and movement within the hidden depths of the Bosphorus as a reflection of her own inner world. The identityless faces in Aydoğan's works consist of undefined portraits that project the fragmented state of artistic sensitivity onto the female figure. These portraits transform into a narrative that emphasizes a representative function rather than a descriptive one.

Having participated in many mixed and group exhibitions, the artist continues her work in her studio in Beyoğlu.
