Trained as an architect, Sayeh Gauvin worked as an interior designer and street furniture designer for several years. As an artist, she express herself through many techniques and materials such as jewelry making, ceramics, photography, painting and paper arts. Sayeh's work is inspired by travel, meeting different people and diverse cultures. She has always been fascinated by plays of light and shadow, and she uses various techniques to emphasize perspectives and contrasts in figurative or abstract works. Each of her artworks is made from a single sheet of paper cut by hand or laser.
